Everybody Receives Information

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (Proverbs 1:7)

"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? The Bible can do nothing if you don’t open it and start reading. "For many are invited, but few are chosen."(Matthew 22:14)

Warning labels are used to give information about health risks and can be dangerous if not followed. "Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say? I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice. He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete." (Luke 6:46-49)

Too much/
Drinking: causes birth defects and risks of cancer.
Smoking: cardiovascular diseases and risks of cancer.
Tanning: risk of skin cancer.

I never used sun block, but I used baby oil. I ignored every warning just so I could get a tan. The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tear hers down. (Proverbs 14:1)

Now I am 44 years old and I was told that I have squamous cell carcinoma (skin cancer). I also put my only child in danger. Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. (Proverbs 27:1)

My active son is now wearing sun protection and educating his friends about skin cancer. Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. (Proverbs 8:34)

I have no one to blame except myself. Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. (James 1:3)

I prayed and asked God to forgive me for my sin. The way of the Lord is not just. But it is their way that is not just. If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it. And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so. (Ezekiel 33:17-19)

Yes! It was sin because I let the sun damage my body which God had made for me.Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
